I
swore I would never be a wedding photographer. I was 17 and in the aftermath of shooting my first wedding I decided, with all the wisdom a high school student can muster, it was a fruitless endeavor that bore far too much stress than it was worth. Did I mention I was 17? Ask me about the entire incident when we meet in person. I assure you it’s as fraught as it sounds.
Obviously things have changed. At this point in my career, I can honestly say I love what I do. I’m part of peoples’ best days, capturing memories they will look back on for their entire lives, and that’s a pretty humbling feeling. When I’m not hiding behind the camera you can find me sipping home brews with the love of my life and our 3 furry family members, geocaching (aka being a total nerd), sussing out Denver’s best restaurants, rocking my fixed gear or in rare moments of quiet enjoying a few chapters of an actual printed-on-paper book.
