Pamela literally bounced through the day. LITERALLY. Have you ever seen a bride jump up and down during the ceremony? I had not, until I witnessed the awesome that was Pamela and Bryan’s wedding. And Bryan, well, he’s gentle and kind. And he holds Pamela close to him, with an enormous grin on his face, like he’s the luckiest man on earth. Which totally melts my heart. This couple is so genuine, as was their wedding day and all the amazing people who surrounded them.

The toasts were punctuated with hilarious laughter and happy tears. The dance floor hosted moment after emotional moment, with more tears, more laughs, and some serious swing moves courtesy of Pamela’s Dad. All of the guests were so clearly honored to be a part of this day, holding Bryan and Pamela up and soaking them in all of the love and happiness they could muster. It was a beautiful event and I felt so lucky to be a part of it.

I loved watching Claire coolly and calmly prepare for the day with her family and bridesmaids. They laughed over a book of memories, relaxed with wine and shared stories at the beautiful Tivoli Lodge. Meanwhile David and his groomsmen were cracking jokes downstairs, setting the tone for a very fun reception.

Thank you Claire and David, you have such a fantastic support system, who are so clearly in love with you both! It was an honor for Drew and I to share it with you all.

Oh! And as added entertainment Katie “had to have” the Moody (Un) Booth. Here are a couple of my favorites!

In a little over a week we have our “reveal” and final shoot day. Right now I’m beyond excited. In less than a month our garage has gone from dark storage cave to a vaulted ceiling, skylight sporting, insulated, drywalled room of possibilities! We got permission to share some photos so long as we don’t spoil too much excitement. So today I’m going to give you a quick run down of the evolution of our new “studio” space in the garage. It’s a “studio” more in the small living/work area sense and it’s going to be brilliant place for you to come meet with me and talk all things photo!!

Framing during the first week!

The center of the garage bay houses a small bathroom, access platform for the attic and a skylight chimney. Cool! Here’s that area with insulation and then drywall!
