My family doesn’t mess around when it comes to reunions. Nearly 200 Rowe descendants gathered in Fredericksburg, VA over the July 4th weekend for a historically and socially significant weekend. I watched my 93 year old Grandfather light up at the faces of his cousins who greeted him by saying “George Rowe! I thought you were buried.”; learned a great deal about my famous relatives, including Pocahontas and Hansford Rowe; and I relished the time with my family including a photo safari with my Dad one beautiful evening.
