We spent New Years Eve at The Bluebird Theater where Slim Cessna’s Auto Club put on a killer show. The night was opened by Munly and the Lupercalians who played a less physical set, but were equally rad. I was impressed by the energy these guys have on stage. I’ve heard their recorded music, but it didn’t exactly prepare me for the almost fanatical crowd and theatrical performance of the leading men Slim and Munly. I took photos throughout the night that I’ll post on flickr as I finish the editing process. Here are a couple shots of entertainer extraordinaire Slim:

This is the time where we’re supposed to look back at the year and forward at the coming one. Drew and I plan to review our 2008 goals today as we enter the first of the new year. 2007 was a year of change for me and I’m really thankful for the opportunity that change has presented. I began a new job, continued building my photography business, bought a house and helped Drew remodel it, we got a kitten, expanded our cooking regimen, I took my first trip to Mexico, joined new organizations, entered photo contests and exhibitions and met some remarkable new friends among lots of other smaller, but no less wonderful things.
I’m hoping 2008 will present a year just as full of opportunity. Thank you for your support and friendship along the way. Happy New Year and best wishes for your 2008.
