If you give a man a Cookie…

Our friend John lost his beautiful dog Daisy recently. She had lived beyond her years and passed quietly of old age. Distraught and heartbroken, as most of us are over the loss of a pet, John did not think he would end up with another Pit Bull in his life. No dog will ever replace Daisy. But he did offer to be a foster parent for the Boulder Pit Bull Rescue…and into his life came Cookie.

John left for Argentina a month ago and had to move Cookie to another foster parent, but 3 weeks of vacation gave him a lot of time to miss the pooch in his life. When he came back he and Cookie were reunited and John requested adoption papers to give her a forever home. Clearly they’re a well made match.
