I spent a few days in Pennsylvania before Christmas visiting with the Rowe clan. We all converged on Bucks County in a flurry. Our too few days were spent cooing at my nephew Kyle, baking & cooking which naturally led to lots of eating (something a Rowe gathering would be nothing without) and catching up with cousins, aunts, and relatives from near and far.
We ate breakfast with Santa, saw the amazing Gingerbread House display in Peddler’s Village, attended the Wrightstown Friends Carol Sing (a long standing Rowe tradition) and had dinner at the Lingohoken Firehouse where my grandfather is a member.
It was a wonderful few days and I spent more time soaking up everyone’s time than capturing photos. I did however sneak in a few clicks here and there–as you can see below 4 month old Kyle was the star of the show.
There is a steam train that runs between New Hope & Lahaska, during this time of year they drive to the “North Pole” and Santa gets on to greet riders!
The windows of the old meeting house at Carol Sing were picture perfect this year. This photo was taken by special request for my Aunt Kathy!
First picture of the handsome devil…
At Peddlers Village they have a Gingerbread display that’s incredible. There are 6 categories to compete in, click to learn and see more! These are 2 of the Gingerbread Houses from the competition that I thought were especially cool. I took more photos with my Dad’s camera on my second trip to the display, but didn’t bring them home!
Here are a couple more of cutie pie. First with Grandpa and then with his Daddy.
