Its Friday night. I’m home from my 14 hour day on 5 hours of sleep. I should be getting to bed, but inspiration of late has guilt oozing out of my pores for not posting images. I have some from two days ago, but these ones are more timely. The show was good last night. Valhalla Kittens played some stuff I’d never heard before and the ladies belted out some bad ass harmony that had the crowd in cheers. Not enough dancing for my blood, but with camera in hand I wasn’t really interested in getting that party started anyway. I only stayed for three of Reverend Glasseye’s tunes as I was anxious not to miss the bus, but the little I saw consumed and energized the crowd. The Flesh played in between these two bands and while being achingly hip in presentation I didn’t give them much of a chance due to the ear piercing volume of their equipment. I’ve never been able to get into feeling as if my ear drums are going to burst when I’m at a show. That might make me lame, but I’m okay with that. Feast on image. I’m going to bed.
