when widgets attack

There are a lot of practical things I should be doing with my time, but instead I’ve chosen to edit and update my widgets and post on my blog while my green mud mask hardens and the air conditioning cools off our hella hot apartment. Sweet.

Tonight I felt as if I was saying goodbye to Boston, although I don’t really have to do that for another few weeks. I looked at the trees and the brownstones, the lesbians holding hands and the drunk indie rockers screaming at me from the bus and I said “Farewell Boston I am leaving you here!”. Even when I saw the guy in the tight black denim and ringer tee that said “After Boston there’s only heaven” I felt content. I laughed. I thought “perhaps Boulder is Heaven…”, not that I really feel that way about the move, but I’m excited. The prospect is taking me over. I posted items for sale on Craiglist, with much success. Granted I sold them all rather cheaply, but money is just that and these are things I’ve no need for, that would otherwise be tossed. All in all I just feel refreshed and excited. I know the trip will harrowing, I don’t deny the transition will not be easy, but I’m anticipating the challenge and simply experience of change itself.

Also I have goals: MORE PHOTOGRAPHS, and to BECOME PHYSICALLY STRONGER.

I also would not mind the addition of a dog in my life.
