Our first hike in Boulder was a success! Hard work, after a long bike ride and a 900 ft elevation gain on top of the mile I’ve been aclimating myself to in the past week. My skin is super dry, my lips are chapped, and I drink a few 64 oz. bottles of water a day from my Nalgene. BUT NO HUMIDITY!
Anyway, the views were sweeping.
We’re pretty low in the Rockies, the foothills I suppose, so no massive peaks really, but rolling outcroppings of rock intetwined with beautiful forest.
We also found some treasure at the top of Gregory’s Lane, but you’ll have to find that on your own!
