70 degrees and sunny

I don’t really ever update do I? Well the new job is swell. I’m enjoying it immensely and learning a lot about the corporate world. Currently a significant portion of my day is spent bored. That’s an entirely foreign feeling for me. Ever since I moved to Colorado the pace of my life has slowed. In Boston boredom was never an option. Working four jobs and five jobs at a time never allowed for it. When I moved to Boulder and joined the 9-5 things got more predictable, but I didn’t suffer from lack of tasks in my last position. Not that I’m complaining. Just assessing. Today the Global Division asked me to start assisting with projects, but as per the crazy logistics of corporate organization it will probably take a while to filter through the various modes of operation before I’m actively doing anything for them. In the meantime I’ll continue to take online education courses and watch CNN.

As per the life outside of work it’s good to have my weekends back and under control. I don’t have to worry about sacrificing them to work, and if I did there would be intense overtime accrued. The dog is finally adjusting and in a place where I don’t come home to detroyed toilet paper, shoes, books, carpets, furniture and whatever else he can sink his teeth into. This weekend Ozzy and his girlfriend Zooma had three dates in three days. I think he may stilll be recovering from all the physical exersion of Dog Parks, Hikes and play dates. Little do they know they’re taking various levels of tests to see if they can be trusted on camping trips. This weekend Ozzy faces the all day car trip gauntlet alone. Will he survive without booting!???? We ran off to Denver on Saturday night for a spontaneous party with Michael in his new abode. Mostly I passed out on the floor and acted like an idiot, but it was fun. This coming weekend holds promise in the form of egg dying, geocaching, partying and a fancy schmancy dinner at the Flagstaff restaurant, courtesy of our friend Banjo Billy whose website Drew has been tinkering with. The new redesign should go live sometime this month so keep watch!

I went to Chicago two weekends ago for Master Evan Woodward’s wedding party. I met his lovely wife Jean and she glowed! Took pictures, they’re on Flickr, but I haven’t made any efforts at editing them yet. Coming up: a trip to Madison Wisconsin for my cousin’s wedding and one to Florida to see Drew’s grandparents. Should be fun!!!!
