I got back from Mexico last night after a crazy day of travel. I really wanted cereal for dinner so we got some milk at the convenience store on our way home. Once home I placed the milk in the fridge where nothing seemed out of the ordinary.
This morning I woke up, made coffee and went to the fridge to use the milk which was still sitting on the door shelf where I had left it. But there was something new in the fridge. It was a large “Cisco Young Turkey”. I figured I had somehow not noticed the turkey last night and while I was on vacation Drew had purchased a turkey for upcoming Thanksgiving celebration, which you’re all invited to, whomever you are.
But then Drew got up to make his lunch and also noticed the turkey that had not been there prior to now in his experience. Which naturally led him to ask if I’d bought a turkey in the middle of the night or early this morning. To which I replied I had not and accused him of messing with my head. We went back and forth for a while postulating about how exactly we came to acquire a mysterious turkey. Did the TurkeyClaus come in the middle of the night through our heating vents? Did Oz turn into a human and go to the store early this morning? Did one of our friends sneak in and place a turkey in our house? Is there such a thing as a turkey ghost?
Drew has since left for work and we have no idea where the Turkey came from. Did you leave a turkey at our house? If so, please let us know. We’re kind of freaking out.
I’ve posted images of the Turkey for evidence in the event that the turkey disappears as mysteriously as it came to us.
