Kristy loves Postsecret.com, that’s a well known fact. But what you may not know about me is that I’m extraordinarily happy with my life. I’ve always been a pretty cheerful girl, but right now I can say definitively that I lead an awesome life. So when I saw the image below on post secret today I thought it’s a sad state of affairs believing that life never gets better. Which led me to consider the movie I watched this weekend. Angels in America is a film I’d heard about for a long time, but just finally got around to watching. A surreal and painfully accurate representation of reality and how people struggle with identity and their own insufficiencies. It’s magical and other worldly, while being startling and true. I can’t begin to capture it here, but its a play so you could probably read it if you like. Or just rent the movie. Its excellent.
