We’ve just returned from a much needed long weekend of R&R with my family. The relaxation was somewhat sparse, because we packed in so much recreation. I haven’t seen my father in over a year so it was long over due! My parents landed in Denver on Thursday and we had a fun afternoon & evening of test driving Scions, eating free food courtesy of the Scion test drive, and checking out a great Art Auction and Fundraiser.
Friday we started our trip South with a tour of Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs & The Cliff Dwellings eventually settling in Westcliffe Co at a quaint B&B. The weekend continued with a train ride through Royal Gorge, a trip to Cañon City, scenic drives through the mountains and a fantastic visit to Bishop’s Castle. I’ve just arrived home and I have a ton of pictures. Here are a quick sampling of our train ride in Royal Gorge featuring honored guests Mr & Mrs Rowe!
