Lets go out to the kitchen…. and have ourselves a snack!

I am finally settling into the new apartment. Its gorgeous. I love it. I almost love my room. Soon when I can use my bed I think I will love it. Right now there are too many piles. But I’m moving towards settled. Living with three boys is interesting. They are good boys, and despite the prior entry/rant (which wasn’t totally about them) I’m enjoying it. Minor flaws, like beer bottle caps lying around endlessly and general laziness will be something i can deal with, but I’ve already been given the title mommy. Hmmm.

This entry isn’t making sense.

We have a garden out front, Josie and I weeded it last weekend and this fall there will be bulbs to plant. That will be a nice project. There is a bleeding heart on the side of the house, and Josie if you read this don’t pull it. It’s a beautiful little plant with little blooms that hang and look a bit like a (duh) bleeding heart…

This weekend was nice. Friday night was roomies bday. Myself and seven boys sat around watching Girls Gone Wild and playing drinking games. Eventually other roomies female friend showed up and I was fortunate to have a same gender comrade. Everyone got new names. Mine was Jesus Christ.

Saturday night Erin and I hit up freaky scenester night at Axis. I don’t understand that whole crowd, but I did learn a few things.
1) If you are part of this mod/sceney/funny hair crowd you can’t show up unless there are no more than 2 hours before the venue closes.
2) The uglier the better. This works for clothing, hair, makeup, shoes, and I think people too.
3) Dance like you fucking mean it! (The uglier the better applies here too)

Worked Sunday. Had a nice chill night afterwards. Dinner with the Aunt, finished some errands, then had a really tasty milkshake and some beers and happily relaxed in good company. 😉

I’m working in a couple hours and should be on my way. Another day of making fatty food, playing basketball and hanging out with “bored” 5th – 7th graders. YAY!
