Dana & Kyle bubble over with energy, the kind of energy that is catching and takes you by surprise. And it’s that imperative energy that keeps them close even when Kyle is in Kansas City and Dana is here in Colorado. And their story fits so well. Meeting and falling in love quickly, honestly and with all they had. Committing to one another despite distance and planning a wedding not long after first meeting. Sometimes you just know.
I can identify with Dana & Kyle. It was, after all, the same kind of confidence that led Drew and I to move across the country together a handful of months after we started dating. We met for lunch some time in April which led to sort of officially calling one another boyfriend and girlfriend around May. By August we were in the car headed 1,984 miles west against the wishes and better judgment of parents and friends who hoped we weren’t being too rash. 4 years later I know it was the best decision I ever made.
Dana & Kyle, thank you for choosing me to photograph your engagement session. I had a great time meeting you guys. I wish you both the best of luck at your wedding in 2010. And Dana I hope moving to Kansas City is the best decision you ever make!
