While Andy has recently informed me he hates me (I think it had something to do with his being unable to afford a new G5), I’ve spent some quality time with other long lost friends in the past couple days.
Last night was girls night, which turned into girls bringing along all their guy friends night in an effort to hook them up with other girls and get their minds off various things they complain about. It didn’t work out exactly as planned, but I think everyone had a pretty decent time. The night is a blur of sitting at random tables in random too air conditioned bars and restaurants after long walks through the “sultry” (yeah the weather predicted tonight would be sultry so I had to say it) hotness of Boston.
The night before I treated myself to an evening wiith Joe K. and his bassist Dave, free Guster and more Wendy’s than I could handle. There was good music and many babes to be checked out. Since I have myself quite a cute babe I helped Joe and Dave pick out some quality chicks.
Tonight we might bowl. Sounds fun huh. I think so.
Its a million degress out. Okay its only like 83, but there seems to be no breeze and everything feels stagnant and heavy.
Most importantly I go home in two moons…. not full moons, just nights, to see my baby and take a relaxing trip to the Shore.
Also tonight at dinner Steve and Eddie spent a long time reliving their childhoods and how they or their friends used to pretend to be special ed kids… or retards. It was somewhat disturbing and I tried to trace back in my childhoodd when I might have done something like this. I vaguely remember having a friend named Allison who did things akin to that… She also did a wicked Wayne’s World Impression. This whole conversation was spawned by someone reporting that Ben was working at a Special Ed camp this summer. Wow.
No one reads this, but I felt like writing it.
