Once, when I worked a mostly boring corporate job, I knew a hilarious fellow named Thayer. He was rather unassuming, but given his name (seriously, how many Thayers do YOU know?) and sharp wit we were friendly and kept one another entertained when our paths crossed.
And then they stopped crossing, because I moved on and so did he. Fortunately for me (and for you) facebook exists and we kept in touch. I know. It’s very 2011 to credit facebook with these pictures. But I did it. Or maybe more accurately I should credit Holen, who is Thayer’s equally clever and possibly even more entertaining match. She is warm. She is funny. She makes Thayer smile, honestly from ear to ear, with all the joy of two people who are meant. And that’s it. These two are meant to be.
I was thrilled when I heard about their pending wedding at Planet Bluegrass next year, which is going to be most awesome. Until then, enjoy these sweet engagement photos taken in and around the lovely city of Boulder, Colorado.
