Around here we don’t really “do” holidays. At least not ones that hinge on expectations or gift giving or Halmark cards. In fact we don’t even have an anniversary. Once a year, sometime between May and November (because that’s when it’s open) we make a trip to The Gold Hill Inn and look back on the year and whatever it is that lays before us.
Our choice isn’t one to “buck the system” or rail against corporations. It just works for us. We still celebrate lavishly with fancy dinners out, travel and or indulge now and again. It’s just how we do.
So this week, since Drew and I won’t be off buying each other roses and chocolates, I thought I’d do something I’ve been meaning to do for a damn long time–celebrate my clients. I LOVE what I do. I LOVE the people who hire me. I am very, very lucky. And I owe that to the amazing people who have been my clients over the years and those who will be in the years to come. This week’s celebration will feature a series of thank yous just for those people. Gifts, discounts, empowerment and a general celebration of love.
Thanks to all of you for making Moodeous Photography what it is and for making me a very happy girl.
