In the past few days I’ve stepped into a world that isn’t my own. A privileged visitor in the South African bush regarded with, at most, mild curiosity by the inhabitants. We’ve watched the rains come and a slow burgeoning green begin to take hold bit by bit. Everything seems rugged and unforgiving, but the life here is bright with it’s own wild abundance. Thriving in the face of it. A balance I can hardly comprehend.
