A few weeks back while watching The Food Network there was a rash of cupcake themed programming and ever since I’ve had a craving that I just can’t shake. So I dragged Drew to Yum Yums Cupcake bakery to satiate my burning desire.
We ordered six delicious looking confections: Boston Creme, Tiramisu, Lemon Blast, Red Velvet, Black Forest & Dulce de Leche. The Tiramisu and Lemon Blast we ate immediately so I didn’t have them for the photo shoot when I got back home. In answer to your burning questions:
1) They were both pretty tasty. They were less indulgent than the other cupcakes we eventually ate and the frosting wasn’t overly sweet. The cupcake itself was nice and moist and tasty.
2) And, YES I have to take photos of EVERYTHING, even cupcakes because they’re so adorable!
So here are the cupcakes!
The Red Velvet-Loved the cake in this one! Frosting was good too, but not unusual…
Dulce de Leche- My favorite. Caramel cake is so much deliciousness I can’t describe!
Black Forest- My second favorite. The chocolate cake was just delicious and the cherries brought extra yumminess to the frosting.
Boston Creme-This is the coolest cupcake because it mimics my favorite doughnut flavor
