my weekend rocked. i just thought everyone should know. it might have been the sunshine, amazing warm weather, only one 4 hour shift at work and lack of pms. it probably has to do with being surrounded by good company as well and seeing lots of good people in lots of good places. friday jenny and i pampered out selves getting our nails done and then eating good food while watching baseball and talking life. we met up with drew and hit up yet another hilarious event at the Casbah in Allston. Its good to see those boys amongst the novelty that is partying with Emerson’s current student population. They are quite the hosts. Saturday I got the right half of my body sunburned while sitting on the deck drinking tea and “photosynthesising” before heading off to work for a night of amusement at BN and a rocking time after watching THE HIDDEN secure a wildcard spot in BCN’s “Rock and Roll Rumble”. The band was killer and the crowd really got into it. I’m totally looking forward to FRIDAY NIGHT when they play again. You should get your butt down to the Middle East and show your support!
Sunday also rocked. I spent the day attempting to sunburn the left side of my body to match my right. Hung out with Drew and Nick at which time we discovered that 3 easy going (indecisive) people make for growling stomachs and a lot of walking, but it also makes for lots of laughter and ridiculousness. I also took pictures of graffiti and sunlight which maybe I’ll post for looking at… but none of them are super exciting.
Well, in type it doesn’t sound so exciting, but it was a wonderful weekend and thats all the matters.
Also I’ve signed up for Dodgeball!, which is the most ridiculous waste of giving away an email address ever, specifically because only two people I actually know have signed up, which is your cue to get on the site, sign up and find me. Then we can have a creepy text stalking friendship. YAY!
Also I have an insane amount of spam in my comments section. Maybe you should balance that by commenting. Maybe you shouldn’t. Its not really up to me now is it. If I could get things done in my life… like my taxes… then I would maybe also consider deleting said spammed messages. Perhaps, one day.
Also, also, read Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs by Chuck Klosterman. I have no idea if that link will work, its rather ridiculously long with lots of bizarre characters, but if you search it in google you can read pages of it. And not only is the book awesome, but its nifty that you can get hooked on it by reading pages of it in Google.
Which brings me to my third also. GOOGLE is amazing. Google maps are killer and way more navigable than mapquest or yahoo maps or anythings like that. Make sure you hit the “more>>” button and actually use all the fabulous google features. Gmail is also pretty cool, but I don’t know how to invite people… maybe i have to be more special than I am. Or maybe I should heed my own advice and actually learn about it and investigate… instead of just searching for ringtones.
If you read this whole entry you deserve a cookie.
I baked chocolate chips last night.
