I sat down with my laptop and the intention of being productive. Then I surfed the internet and watched TV. I would walk to Kinkos and make copies of my professional references on the paper that matches my resume so I could finish mailing out resumes, but its terrible outside. Bill O’reilly is ranting about the Terry Schiavo situation. I won’t get into my views about the whole thing, except to say that it makes me sad for everyone involved.
I went dancing this weekend at Veez in (i think) Medford. Here’s a link to some unflattering pictures, can you find Kristy?! The Dj on Saturday nights is Jim Plunkett and I have to admit to becomming a total fan in the past couple weeks. He has great taste in music and its a great workout. Everyone dances and looks like an ass in a low key not abnoxiously pretentious (like Boston) atmostphere where the beers are reasonably priced. Anyway I had a killer time with my girls and their respective boys… whos coming out next Saturday?
I spent Easter with JennyB and her family who are awesome. Highlights included adorable giggling 80ish year old Aunt Stacia sneaking treats, watching (with tears in my eyes) Jenny drink her first beer since Lent with (the late) Grampy Max at 11am, tasting Asti for the first time and decorating my peeps with pink frosting!
It helped me miss being at home with the fam’ a lot less….
