I am bright red. Bright crispy lobster red. I am at work. The one where I sit at a computer and tell children to stop screaming. Thats not the same one as where I sit making a gimp lanyard yelling at children to quit swearing. Thats the job that caused me to be bright red, but instead of the norm I knelt by the tide sifting through piles of shells and pebbles looking for sea glass while yelling at children not to go too deep into the filth infested Boston harbor. That is the job that has caused me to be bright red. Now I am sitting in front of the sign that says “You can know what you need and ask for help” which I haven’t completely come to understand, but I’m pretty sure its just encouragement for people to ask me for help instead of thinking they know what they are doing and messing up the already crap computers.
Last night I had the pleasure of seeing Much Ado About Nothing on the common. The Commonwealth Shakespeare Company did a fabulous job and the production was great. Naturally Benedic and Beatrice were the best part carrying the majority of the play with their strongly written characters and well crafted portrayals. Margaret who is an apprentice to the company, performing in Midsummer Nights Dream as Puck, danced in Much Ado and looked radiant in the flowing dresses, dancing with a bright toothy smile. I was joined by Robb and Michael from PrankDesign as well as Mike another Emersonian and an extension of friends named Erica and I think Rose Mary or Mary Rose or Mary something, there wasn’t much conversing, just play watching.
Tomorrow I will pack for my fast approaching week away from the DNC. I can not wait.
